In 2026, I continued my role at Indie Music Fest, building on my responsibilities from the previous edition while taking on a broader operational role within the festival.

Alongside managing the ticketing operations throughout the four-day event, I remained responsible for recruiting and coordinating a team of five, organizing schedules, and ensuring the efficient operation of all ticketing and access control processes.

This year, I also assumed greater responsibility for the festival's operational logistics, overseeing the setup and day-to-day functioning of the site. I was responsible for the organization of key areas, including the Indie Market, campsite, and merchandise zone, while acting as the first point of response for operational issues across the venue, ensuring they were resolved quickly and effectively.

The role demanded strong skills in leadership, logistics, problem-solving, and event operations, contributing to a seamless experience for artists, staff, partners, and festival-goers throughout the event.

Indie Music Fest is an independent music festival held in Baltar, Paredes, widely known as one of Portugal’s most authentic celebrations of alternative and emerging music. Set in the so-called Magic Forest, the festival combines a unique natural setting with a carefully curated lineup of Portuguese artists, offering an intimate yet vibrant atmosphere.

Focused on showcasing independent talent, the festival presents a mix of established names and rising voices across multiple genres, while also promoting sustainability, community spirit, and cultural identity. Beyond the concerts, Indie Music Fest includes immersive experiences, camping, local gastronomy, and creative happenings, making it a distinctive gathering for music lovers and a strong platform for national independent music.
