POLINIZA
Who: Poliniza
When: Summer of 2022, 2023 & 2025
Work:
I created and developed the Poliniza project, leading the concept from its inception to execution. I managed all partnerships with municipalities and cultural spaces where the project was presented, handling the curation and coordination between venues and artists.
I was also responsible for the communication strategy and logistics, including concert and workshop locations, stage setups, and schedules, ensuring all activities aligned with the visual identity and branding I developed for the project.
This role combined project creation, curatorial direction, partnership management, and strategic communication, allowing me to deliver a cohesive and impactful cultural experience that connected artists, spaces, and communities.
Project Description – “Poliniza”
Poliniza is an artistic cycle led by Que Amor é Este, featuring a series of concerts, workshops, and presentations of creative works developed in collaboration with various municipalities and cultural spaces. Running from 2021 to 2025, the project has highlighted numerous concerts in Mondim de Basto, including venues like Favo das Artes, as well as events across other local areas.
All concerts were free to the public and showcased performances by artists such as Bia Maria, Raquel Martins, Golden Slumbers, Time For T, and Marinho. Workshops and creative activities were developed in Fafe, Celorico de Basto, and Liverpool (UK), providing both local and international artistic engagement.
The project aims not only to introduce new Portuguese music and art to more remote regions where cultural access is limited, but also to connect communities to culture, breaking barriers under the motto: “Culture and art created, shared, and felt by all, for all.”
Through this project, we aim to highlight the richness of Portuguese artists and music and create a welcoming space for community engagement. I am passionate about my role and proud of the impact Poliniza has on our local community.
